Secondary School Diversity Training Event

There are two elements to this course:


a) A full day of training to teaching/pastoral staff to learn to deliver understanding about diversity, hate crime and its consequences suitable to pupils in years 7,8,9 & 10.


The training covers all six strands of hate crime;  Race, Religious Belief, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender, Disability and Alternative Subgroup Culture.

The training is suitable for both faith and non faith schools which meets the standards of a schools single equality duty and Ofsted requirements.  It provides course attendees with a platform to deliver an immersion day within school to whole year groups.

b) A half day of training to teaching/pastoral staff to learn to deliver a training session to staff based on supporting the pupils training day above.

This session  underpins the understanding of the importance to challenge behaviours based on prejudice, to produce a consistent approach for all members of the school.  It supports all areas of the hate crime strands to build understanding into the curriculum.

Diversity 1-Day CPD Event

A training day for professionals which aims to increase knowledge and awareness about diversity within the workforce.


This course is written from the personal accounts of employees and is recognised byStonewall in their 2014 booklet “Line Managers – How to manage a diverse workforce”.

This day can also been adapted to include specific areas for teaching professionals for use within the curriculum

LGBT 1-Day CPD Event


A training day for professionals which aims to increase knowledge and awareness of issues which specifically affect LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) young people. .  This includes information about LGBT  identities,  language use and inadvertent LGBT exclusion.  Areas of current disadvantage including education, healthcare, hate crime and discrimination.  It includes information about support to promote LGBT equality by improving understanding in schools and other settings.
